Waiheke Island here we come!

Today's photo-post is  of an idyllic New Zealand island memory with our children, Jason and Liesl,
and our grandchildren, Joshua and Jesse.

Together,  with pictures that contrast with our snowy weather in Edinburgh today, I would also like to
add the following that is lingering with me the last couple of days:

I found Psalm 43:3,4  so striking, they won't leave me!

"Send forth your light and your truth to me - let them bring me to where You live.  V4 - then I will go to God my joy and DELIGHT!
This is no theoretical truth that gets stuck in the head and never reaches the best!"

Here are those pictures of sun, ferry, family, surf and island!  We recall the wait for the ferry at Half Moon Bay, the anticpation on the 45 minute crossing to Waiheke and swimming in one of the many
bays with the Coromandel as background - with the thrill of an excellent vivid memory.  Prized family time!

Here we are watching the sunrise at Half Moon Bay and waiting for the sight of the red ferry.

Son and mom!

Aaaah that surge of the wave!

Is that a bath in the foreground?

The Ferry is drawing close to the island.

This is how an island should look!

Waiting like 3 meerkats - eyes peeled for the ferry.

Dad squeezes.
